The current default RAM allocation is 512 MB.
This is set during installation. See Install GigaFlow on a Windows Platform.
For big installations, i.e. with a large number of flows to be monitored, it may be necessary to increase this to at least 3 GB.
At the same time, you must be mindful of:
- The hardware capabilities, i.e. you may run into problems with older or under-specified machines.
- Other software that may need RAM, e.g. your operating system.
